I bought this fabric not knowing what in the world i was going to use it for, but it just caught my eye. I think it may be a printed sateen. Then I saw this project and knew it was perfect!
i too had some problems with the fit. I made the pattern in the smallest size and still had to take in all the darts in the bodice (which i think may be because of my insignificant bust area ;)
After alterations, it fit perfectly!!! I used this in my portfolio when applying for school, and recently wore it to a friends wedding…I got sooo many compliments!!
I love the idea of having a chic, classy fit in a really fun print!
