I wanted a sleeved dress with a low back, so I modified the “60’s dress” pattern to have a deep low back. I put the zipper in the center back rather than the side, widened the sleeve a bit to make one large pleat, and dipped the neckline a little lower.
I blogged about the dress here: http://thecraftedcure.blogspot.com/2012/02/inspired-by-etsy.html

Thanks guys! I was nervous, it was my first time following a pattern, let alone modifying one!
