It’s been a while that I wanted to make this dress, but I never really had the fabrics to do it. It’s dress 120 from 07/2010 burda style. thanks to the descriptions of the Slapdash Sewist I didn’t even try to read the burda instructions and just followed hers. As I didn’t want to cut my fabric directly I made this first version of the bodice with some green jersey I got from my grandmother – unfortunately the dress started to grow on me and I thought ah just add a skirt and you have a pretty jersey dress :) there are a lot of mistakes, but well it’s a first version. It is rather loose and I consider adding a zipper to make it tighter – but on the other hand it’s nice to have a dress to just slip in :) well now I can’t wait to make the “real” dress
very light black jersey and green a little more stiff jersey
