Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Here’s my new fitted dress for work! This is the kind of dress that I could never buy off the rack because of fitting issues. I’m so happy with how it turned out! I especially love my little bow detail.
Lots of details on my blog. I’d love for you to come by and say ‘hello’.
I used an interfaced hem, so I added a tutorial.
Material Notes
100% wool twill that ended up being really stretchy, throwing me a bit of a curve ball in the fit and construction. But so comfy!

This looks great on you! Very well fitted. That is one of my favorite parts of sewing. It takes a lot of time to get it right, but it looks incredible afterward!

Thanks! Fitting is actually one of my least favorite parts of sewing. I’m never confident that I’ve got it right and it just takes so much time!

Thank you! I do prefer outdoor photos but it’s hard because there’s no good location close to my home (I love behind a shopping mall. yuck!) and now it’s dark for so much of the day!
