The first proper dress I’ve made in a long time..
I drafted the pattern myself using the drafting book by Winifred Aldrich and wanted to try it out so used this lizard fabric I’ve had for ages as a muslin, quite liked it and decided just to keep this as a proper dress too!
It gapes at the front so pinched it in for a sweetheart neckline and kept the back panel square
Has an invisible zip up the left side. It’s not lined so may be ok for summer days
Took a pic outside to evidence the first bit of sun in what feels like 5 years :)
Also made a lizard hair comb by taking the back off a brooch and super gluing to a plain comb!
Lizard cotton from eBay
