This is stretch satin left over from when I made the Madison dress a while back, and the pattern is also a “left over” from when I made the Gold Ruffle dress (you know how patterns come with several styles besides the one you bought it for?).
I made it to use up the fabric, so though not terrible exciting, I’m happy with it.
Though, I think it adds some visual poundage…and I would give my sewing a “C” on this one.
The pattern # is Simplicity 2497
I had lots of issues with using fusible interfacing on this fabric-it puckered and made unsightly wrinkles that wouldn’t away. If I were to make this dress again I’d avoid satin actually.
