Lol I made two versions of this for my first sewing projects too! Although I had a lot of supervision from my mum ;) I made mine in green velvet and another in strawberry print cotton with a gathered skirt rather than using the pleats, I love this though gives it a really classy look, what fabric did you use exactly? I think I may have to revisit this pattern now!
