Pin-up meets Rockabilly meets Mad-Men meets….it’s all here in one dress. I fell in love with Vogue 8280’s sweet-heart neckline and pencil skirt; two never-fail styles in one dress. But I discovered poor 8280 has been spending much of her life in the office and was in need of some cheer with cheeky jolley-rogers, little anchors and air-mail stripe piping. Look at her go!

Hi Dibii, the pattern is Vogue 8280 and I followed it exactly. I sheared off the bottom corners of the skirt for more of a fitted shape.
