Description

I decided to be ruthless and get rid of a lot of things I didn’t wear anymore, but I couldn’t bring myself to give away a lovely blue dress with tiny red polka dots and peach love hearts. I cut the top off and make it into a skirt, but I still wasn’t happy, so I decided to start from scratch and use the fabric to make a top. I used the embroidered patches from the the original dress to decorate the back.

Material Notes

Recycled cotton fabric from a Top Shop dress, 100% thick red cotton from a previous make and some synthetic animal print fabric – which I lined with fusible interfacing for the facings.
