Great Yarmouth, ...
When I first saw this dress in the december issue, I wasn’t all that crazy about it. Didn’t like the sequin insert, nor the pleated chiffon hem band. But then I saw it here in a bright red without all the funny bits, and I loved it. So, off I went to my local fabric shop and found this burnt orange fabric, which I really liked, but impossible to find a matching chiffon for the scarf bit. The lady in the shop almost had me convinced to do the whole dress in just the one colour, when I discovered this olive/orange satin. I think the 2 fabrics go well together and am happy with the dress. And actually, the scarf can the worn many different ways, which I tried to show on the pictures.
