can we get a plus size version? a well endowed woman (you know in the chest area) i dont think could wear this. i would need at least one more size for this. i know trying to resize myself doesnt always work. please?? i think other people would agree it would help to have a plus size version. doesnt everyone want cute clothes? and be able to make them too?

I like the vest but had to dig around to see what sizes it came in. How about putting the size range in the description of the vest?

Good job BS! I love your choice of the fabrics! Corduroy & leather are perfect match!

Crazy stuff, I think BurdaStyle are reading my mind too as I was wanting to make a vest! Not sure if I’ll go for this pattern or the Franzi though, because the vest I had in mind would mean alterations to the pattern either way! Great to see Monday projects back though :)

Yes it’s very cute but… Well the vests have to show curves, and be fitted. And this vest isn’t so. Sorry but I think that the vesy should FIT the body shape, and show it off. In this case the vest is just hovering… :|

I agree! In the first picture it looks really good, but then you look at the others… I hope it’s a case of the model was maybe a little smaller than the size made?

The model was a bit smaller than the size of the vest, hence it looking a bit loose. The princess seams and belt in the back will help you achieve those form fitting lines you desire!

Thanks, I’m sure the vest will look great on a bigger size:) But the photos are a bit misleading

I’m loving the return of proper Monday patterns, and this waistcoat is so awesome! I was kind of over them but the fabric choice is really cool. Modern and yet a bit steampunk – what more could you want? I love you guys, Burdastyle.

I think BurdaStyle is reading my mind. First the leggings, then the flowy cardigan and now this vest! Everything I’ve been wanting to make for my wardrobe! Thank you.

Haha, I misread the headline to say, “for your favorite rack” not “your favorites rack”! Cute vest.

It’s very similar to the Franzi vest. And I agree with ed2122 that $4 for a basic vest is a bit expensive. But other than that, I think it’s really cute.

This is a cute basic vest. I really like the way you guys made it in corduroy and leather! Very nice. I do have to say, though, that I wish you guys would at least make basic patterns like this one cost a little less. I think $2 would be a fair price – BurdaStyle used to have a lot more patterns for around $2, and for something basic, I think that’s reasonable. Just my two cents!
