My friend really wanted jeans that fit her son Louie. She was having a hard time finding something that fit his proportions without being too baggy in the legs so she asked for my help. I used Burdastyle boy’s pants pattern #145, 4/2013 issue. This project was a bit of trial and error because I’ve never made jeans for boys and because the request for just the right fit was specific. The pattern I used was great and easy. I did have to take it in a bit at the crotch and the leg because it was still a bit baggy but in the end it fit.
This has been one of my favorite projects because Louie was happy he got something that fits! And look, he’s such a natural model.
