This scarf dress was made for my sister. The pattern was perfect because the sizing is very forgiving; we live several states away so I can’t have her come in and do a fitting. The lotus is hand beaded, removable and can be worn separately.

Very pretty and so feminine. I love the color combination and the details of the lotus. Great job!

Thanks, you guys! I can’t take credit for the fabric coordination- She sent the fabrics to me several years ago, but of course its very difficult to cut into something so lovely if you aren’t going to do it justice. The scarf dress tutorial was an inspiration, as I could use up every last bit of the material. My sister is taller and bustier than me, so all the shirring is hopefully going to fit her.
