What a sweet project! A friend gave me a sweetly patterned light brown fabric, and I knew I had to make a jumper with it. I used McCalls 6331, and made a few changes. I used Megan Nielsen’s absurdly easy scallop hem tutorial (http://blog.megannielsen.com/2011/05/how-to-make-scallop-hem-shorts-from-old-shorts), and it was magical! I also shortened the lapels and lined it with a contrasting fabric. It’s so sweet, I feel like one of Peter Pan’s lost girls!

So cute. The rounded lapels look way better than the ones in the pattern. I made this too but I cut the lapels completely off.
