I made this shirt by altering a regular t-shirt pattern. I used some white burnout jersey (it kind of looks like tiger stripes). I like the flowy design of this shirt for summer because it is SO HOT right now that I hate having clothes stick too close to my body.

As of May 2012 I’ve discontinued this pattern and replaced it with a new pattern that is similar in style but I think is more accurate and better designed. You can find the new pattern here. Thanks to everyone who downloaded the old pattern! I hope you liked it. I’ll still be making more free patterns (in addition to for-sale patterns) in the future.

This is a really cute top. I’m making myself at the moment and I think it’s going to be just as fabulous as yours is. Thank you for the pattern, I really appreciate.

I made a size too large, but I really like how it fits and hangs despite being a tad big. What an easy top… went together in a breeze. Thanks for posting it.
