Ahhhhh I finally learnt how to sew a decent zipper fly! Thanks to this pattern from the Japanese Female magazine I was asking Nahoko about :-)
Sewed a size M but took it in a bit, and changed the waistband to a thin one (a fiddly process I shall never repeat again). Overall it turned out okay I guess. My aim with this pattern was to learn how to assemble trouser pattern pieces together (a challenge made even more challenging when one can’t read a single Japanese word lol). I do however really like the crotch curve on this pattern! :-)
For the button I used a tiny gold-colored button I found in an old haberdashery. Glad I can wear these capris either tucked in or not.

Hi! What sort of fabric are these? Chambray or soft denim? You look street style hot!

Hi! It kinda looks like synthetic gabardine, or some other sort of suiting fabric that’s not too heavy.. thanks for the compliment! :D
