I bought this hand-printed dachshund tea towel from a little store on the NSW South Coast, called Paloma Le Sage. I would never use an expensive, hand-printed tea towel AS a tea towel, so I decided I’d sew the edges together, stuff it and turn it into an adorable puppy cushion! A month later, I finally did! It only took half an hour, most of which was taken up by hand-stitching the last part of the seam after stuffing the cushion.
Also in the background is the crochet blanket I’ve been working on for the last two winters. It’s too hot to work on for about 8 months of the year, but I think this winter will finally see it finished.
The wonderful project title is courtesy of pambox, as it’s too late at night for either of us to come up with a good dachshund pun.
