Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I dyed a few yards of fabric using the Indian spice turmeric, which turns fabric a bright gold-yellow color. My mom helped me sew this long straight skirt with it. We didn’t have a pattern, we were just winging it, but it turned out great!
Material Notes
100% all-natural cotton, turmeric, white vinegar (to prepare the fabric for absorbing the dye), a large aluminum pot.
