Allready fall??
No, hopefully the summer will last for another while. But for cool summer nights (and the first days of fall) I made this coat based on the pattern by Onion #1041. The pattern turned out very nice, everything fits perfect, the size is just right and sewing was easy. The “hardest” part was the facing, but this wasn’t really a problem.
The fabric is a kind of flanel with silver floral print, the lining is made of red polka dot cotton. I also made red decorative stitching and added some big silver buttons.
Actually the pattern is without lining, but I thought it would be to thin. I also love the clean look inside. But enough talking, take a look at the pictures above.
My next project will be a summer dress ;)
