I made this vest for my husband as a Christmas present, he want for long time a such vest so I did my best to make him an exclusive one.
I used tweed for front, satin for back, royal silk for front lining and black taffeta for back lining.
as finishing I added brown satin pippin, the button holes are sewed in contrasting color, same as fine stripes from tweed fabric, also the buttons are sewed with same color.
Pockets are made in brown satin. for pockets I used also some pippin to balance the look of the vest.
To complete the present I added a collection watch that is also a London watch.
For this project all was working so smooth, no mistake and great sewing. The watch I waned since I had the idea for this present and the collection that appeared almost seam to wait for me :-)
watch also my other project made in same ,,crme de la crme,, fabrics :-)
My husband was more than pleased with such precious gift :-)
