This is the other dress I made for my trip to London 18 months ago. Same as with the London Calling dress, I have given up hope of ever getting my photos of it actually in London, so here are some more photos taken in my backyard. As usual, the photos are by pambox.
The fabric is a knit that is ever so slightly fleecy on the inside. It also has a bit of sparkle in it, which doesn’t show up in the photos unfortunately. I picked the name because the colour is much the same as the London winter sky was when we got rained on every afternoon at 3.
Pattern is Butterick 5523, minus the back decorative button thing because I don’t like it.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
