  What a great time! I loved to make my girls stuff from old nightgowns and dresses- really anything silky and shimmery and shiney would do – from the thrift stores around town- that way it was cheap and already about half done. They could see me work on it, and then they could be delighted to play with something that was made for them. Now one sews and one wants to sew. cheap and worked out well.

  That is the cutest thing!! I remember my mother sewing us cowboy outfits and a head of a horse, that she would attach to a stick, for my sister and I to ride around on…I will see if I can find a picture. But I have to say, I love your superheroes
