A cute and easy little dress made with elastic thread for the smocking done on a sewing machine, and a scalloped edge also done on the machine. The edge was so fun, all I did was sew the scallop stitch along the edge, then cut away the fabric. No hemming needed. I happened to have some bias tape that matched for the straps, and then I used a pattern from a book to make the embroidered feathers.
