This is the first project i have been brave enough to put up!!!!!
This was intended for my little sisters year 10 formal.
The whole dress was based around a pair of red sequinned heels.
I used a Hillary Duff design for the Bodice which was lined and had flexible boning sewn into the lining.
For the skirt i created a circle skirt that was nearly 2 full circles and gathered that at the waist.
under the skirt i sewed in a tuel petticoat of three tiers to give the skirt body and poke out under at the bottom.
for decoration i used three organza and bead flowers on the neckline and a fourth in her hair.
we set the whole outfit off with a scarf with a beaded fringe.
Blue Satin for dress
Red tuel for Petticoat
red chiffon for scarf
