The pattern for this top came from the Japanese magazine Cucito (2011 Autumn edition). It’s a light weight stretch knit material, very soft and perfect for this time of year. I accidently cut the shoulder panels the wrong way, but I like how the lines run vertically in that section only, so I might just disguise that as an on-purpose design feature. I cut out a size 100 (he’s 3½ years old), but I had to lengthen the sleeves and bottom hem line. The top fitted perfectly other than that.
