I made this from fabric scraps and am pretty happy with the result. The top is a black and white tank and the bottom is in a beautiful red. I love the color combination! The bottom is gathered into the top to give it that bubble shape at the bottom.
I created the gathered sweetheart bust by reading maryy’s instructions for the hothot Heat dress she made. I added some white ruffles and a blue scalloped ribbon to it and sewed on two black wodden pearls.
The red of the skirt is actually much redder than in the photos, I don’t know why they turned out so yellow/orange. I will retake them over the weekend, I’m just so excited about the dress right now :)

So cute. Love your color style. Scraps sometimes are better than the best planned dress.
