Description

I collect vintage hankies (a lot of vintage hankies!) and I’m finally brave enough to cut into them and use them! I’ve been wanting to make a dress for a while but one that was not too patchwork-y or hippie-ish.

    Gorgeous. It looks so delicate and yet wearable. I feel your pain in cutting those beautiful hankies. I always feel apprehensive about cutting expensive fabrics.

      yes! i feel that way about liberty; i’ve been hoarding some for a while. i hope to make it a dress one day! :)

    What a sweet way to use your vintage hankies I hope you will be brave and make more wonderful creations using them. I think yourdress is very beautiful, no where near hippie, it’s quite summery and light and I think you chose the perfect pattern for the print on these hankies.
