3 piece suit for the office using Steffi, Jenny and Franzi patterns.

Steffi jacket – Since steffi isn’t lined it’s very quick to make, and i bound all the inner seams in grey bias binding so it keeps it nice and stiff.

Franzi waistcoat – I didn’t use satin/silk to make the back piece as you usually would for waistcoats, i used the same main outer fabric so i could wear just the waistcoat and skirt on their own.

Jenny skirt – super easy and lined, which i love in work skirts!

I was so lucky as to get matching buttons in two sizes for the jacket and waistcoat – YAY!

The fit looks great except for the sleeves — why so long?

Hmm…not sure, i suppose that’s the length i wear all my sleeves, i’m actually quite definite about it. Any shorter and i’m always pulling them down and fixing myself – just personal preference i guess.

This is so fabulous. Looks absolutely perfect together. I like that you used the fabric for the hole outside of the waistcoat. Very nice craftsmanship.

Great work and very inspiriering as i am also thinking about doing a office outfit :-) it is one of the big favoures when you are sewing – you can choose just the pieces you like and make them matching by simply using the same fabric!
