Description

I used the technique called “smocking a honey comb texture” and added some small roses which I made out of little pieces of fabric.

Very beautiful! I’ve tried some “canadian-style” smocking before and loved the results!

      Re: canadian smocking.
I’m on my little nook so I can’t cut and paste an easy link for you. But if you look at all the tudor rose purses I’ve posted, the centers of all but one are canadian smocking. Also, I suggest going on youtube and checking out a video tutorial. The effect is stunning. I hope you try it!

very cute! and looks like super soft pillow :-)) I use to have a dress made by my grandma with the same technique used on the belt and cuffs. It can be used on so many things. Great work!!!
