I fell in love with this lace, but unfortunately it was pretty expensive so I could only afford a little bit… so I made a short little dress that I am pretty in love with. I just used a basic darted bodice sloper, cut the neckline down into a deep V and used the beautiful selvedge as the neckline and hem!

Congratulations on the wonderful idea to keep the selvedges as the edge finishing trip – it together with the lace itself, which is just gorgeous, makes the basic pattern into a stunner!

i’m always at a loss with what to do with lace because i think i’ll ruin it.. i like what you’ve done here, esp the hem and neckline.

su.per.cute! The simple design really lends itself nicely to the detailed lace & really lets the lace speak for itself.

This is adorable! That’s such a nice lace… I love how small the pattern is, and the selvedges are so lovely! Nice work!
