Description

I initially made a first batch of five dresses by myself. Then I had a group of ladies over. We were able to crank out four dresses in four hours. I will not post the group sewing pictures here, as I don’t have their permission to do so. It was a great sewing day! It was awesome of these ladies to donate their time, machines, and tons of fabric. We will continue to meet and sew. I recommend the little dresses as a good way to use any bit of scrap you have lying about.

I sew with some gals from church,or sometimes alone, and then I send them straight to Little Dresses. Here is their web address:

I think it is so great that you and a group sewed these beautiful dresses for the kids in Africa. I want to do this but I have not found anyone who sews or wants to do this too. I will keep looking though because I think it is a wonderful project and a good way to use up some of my scrap fabric also…(still need to keep some for my quilts though…LOL). Happy Sewing and I hope your group will give you permission to post their pics as I would love to see all of your smiling faces sewing happily for a good cause. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!
