Description

The pattern is the first version my lotus bag, when I altered a bit pattern replacing handles 2 cm to the center. I was inspired to make two pom poms and was very happy how they matched, and drew a little cat with acrylic fabric colors. There is lining and zipper closure, too. I prewashed the linen but it was difficult to iron. I spent half an hour steam ironing and eventually managed to flat wrinkles to some extent.

    Onaj dan kad sam dobila mašinu, naišla sam na ovu sliku pretražujući net i sačuvala ju kao nešto što svakako moram napravit. Vjerojatno zbog mace, ali super mi je. Sad kad sam “naletila” i na autoricu, drago mi je da ti to mogu i reći. :)

    the cat looks great! i want to give fabric paints a try someday soon. any tips?

    ps. i know how hard linen can be to iron – one of my jobs is working for a woman who sells vintage linen so i spend hours and hours ironing.

      Jodika, I suppose there are different techniques and paints, this is a liquid paint in a little bottle – I just dipped my brush into it and started, to see what would happen. It was on separate piece of fabric (that i used for the pocket) so I wasn t afraid of messing up. Turned out fine on first trial:)
