I was fancying the coffee date dress for a while now and then i found this cute fabric during sales. so tadaa. unfortunately no ruffles, because boyfriend was like “WHAT? you want to put that thing on the dress?”…and ok there’s already a lot going on with the print…and then i was thinking about all those pretty back-cut-out versions but that’s for another cute print : )

Cute dress in my favorite color (blue). However, what is the item you are holding in your arm? It’s a lamp? a house? um, yeah, I would like to know more about that if you don’t mind. I mean can I make one?

yep it’s a lamp in form of a house i’m making for my boyfriend (christmas present…euh). it’s quiet simple. i just started to document the process on flickr… but the beginning is missing. it’s basically a wire framework and 3-4 layers of very thin white paper glued together with something called “water-based varnish-glue”. so it’s some sort of glue and varnish in one.
