I found the idea for this plushie from Strawberry Koi blog ,which in turn found the original diy tutorial from a finnish blog which il link to . Its a really fun toy to make ,and i was able to use an old pair of jeans. Its such a clever use of materials as you find as you make it up how the different shades of denim and the texure look so whale like . I actually made him over a year ago now , and he happily sits on my shelf in my art nook . oh ,i also had lots of fun experimenting with different machine stitching to make the marking on the tail .
