i hit the jackpot at a consignment store and got about 10yds of random fabric for about 2$ this was some of it. not sure what it is.. this started out as a 2 piece something but my origional idea didn’t work out, so i make skirt gathered and sewed and added some inseam pockets.. i also put some wide elastic in the bottom for a little puff effect and to keep it where it is. ha its a little dress and i haven’t been confident enough to wear it outside yet, but i love it, it fits too well. the picture is awful, and i couldn’t get a good shot of the back..sorry
cute blue/white stretchy fabric, elastic

thanks for the positive comments!! it means A LOT! I never thought about looking for fabric either, usually i shop for clothes to refashion..i literally stumbled upon a huge box pouring with fabric..I had to pace myself b/c my apt is FULL of fabric waiting to be used.ha

I’d never thought to look for bulk fabric in consignment shops…I’ll have to start nosing around! i think this dress is versatile. If you’re not confident enough yet to wear it, you could wear it with a tank underneath or some pants? It’s really too cute to not be worn :P
