I made this this black dress for the races this year back in April. I was a bit crazy and left myself just over a week to develop the pattern and sew! I wish i had left myself more to get the fit a little better!
It was inspired by a Stella McCartney dress. It is made of ponte with mesh inserts. The sleeves are raglan and the back skirt is flounced. It was the first time I have made raglan sleeves which was a bit of a challenge drafting the pattern, but easy to sew and comfortable!
