A little black dress for my university ball. I had some linen I wanted to use, bought a long time ago with no project in mind. Unfortunately, as is often the case with such purchases, I had too little, so I shortened it to compensate. I would have liked it to be a little longer, ideally…
Black linen, black velvet ribbon, black bias binding.
I used the bodice sloper from this site to start me off, and then altered almost everything and added a skirt.
