Description

I made my own baby pattern after reading through the introduction from Winifred Aldrich’s Metric Pattern Cutting for Children’s Wear and Babywear (which is a fabulous resource, by the way). I’m so pleased with the result! These little robes are self drafted, which I find surprisingly satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. The three little robes are made for different friends who have new little ones. There’s a whole lot more boring pattern talk on my blog lizajanesews if you are interested.

Material Notes

Quilting cotton, microfleece, various trims

The robes are cute, but your photo set up is fabulous! I hope it gets you noticed; it should!

These are adorable!!! I wish I could draft patterns, it would be so much easier than trying to use ready made ones. Happy Sewing!

Thanks! Try it out! it’s really not as difficult as I though it would be. The book I mentioned above is such a great resource if you are interested.
