My son’s Halloween costume. He wanted to be Link from the Nentindo game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Priness. I crochetted the green tunic, no pattern. I added longer sleeves to his favorite white tee-shirt, and I drafted my own pattern for his pants and boots. I even twisted my own cord for his belt!
1 skein green yarn (red heart, since it’s cheap). Obviously a crochet hook. Less obviously, size G in US. 1 yard white plain knit fabric. 1/2 yard fake suade, two vynal bottoms for the boots, and of course thread!

Thank you! I was completely suprised to find out that several people don’t know who Link is! Checkers at the grocery store, teachers at my son’s school… I was shocked. My kiddo told everyone at his school that “mommy made my link costume!”
