Linen top with satin bias tape

Description

I made this top from a very light weight linen and unfortunately it wasn’t enough to make the bias tape. So I bought this satin bias tape and I had trouble with it. It curled a little bit, but I’m determined to wear the top anyway!

      Thank you! I didn’t have enough fabric to make the binding from the same fabric! :) So typical of me :)

    Actually I love it! I don’t see any curling?? I would wear it in a heart beat!! I love linen and use it a lot. I just made two Tilda bears using natural linen from an old dress that looked like a potato sack but as bears, they are adorable! I am crazy for linen anything so keep using it. This top is wonderful…..enjoy!

      Thank you! I don’t even see the curling anymore, I have just been wearing the top all the time:) I can totally understand your love of linen. I wish I could find it more easily here.

      This pattern was from a Finnish sewing magazine, sorry! I’ll look if I can find similar top here.
