This is one of my favourite skirts and was actually made in January last year (I’ve sewed a few things since). I made this skirt using Burdastyle’s Michelle pattern, without the bottom panel.
The contrast bands were made using the wrong side of the fabric. Sewing them onto the skirt and ensuring they were straight was the most time-consuming part of this project.
Linen fabric by Japanese brand Kokka. Lined with cotton voile.
