Best kids pants pattern I have so far found. The pattern is a free download from ‘made’ (http://www.dana-made-it.com/2008/07/tutorial-and-pattern-kid-pants.html) and there are step-by-step instructions. I actually made these pants some time ago which is why they look a little worn and I have even had to take the hem down already because my boy is growing so fast. Luckily I added extra to the hem when making these to account for this. I did a jeans seam on every seam to make them really sturdy (my boy climbs trees all day). I like the way the pocket linings can be seen at the edges.
Linen, cotton with a bit of stretch. Black and white gingham lining the pockets.
