It took me ages to decide on the pattern/style then even longer to decide the fabric…this is my summer, light weight jacket. Linen and lined with a cotton lawn. The pattern was really easy to follow and everything fitted first time, the lining went in without any problems. There are little pleats in the pockets and on the cuffs… so it looks less ‘blazer’… more casual. Very pleased! I can’t stop wearing it. its Butterick pattern 5469, I’m thinking of a winter tweed, long sleeve version now.
