Description

This is my third time making this pattern. I wanted to make something that would look good for work and be comfortable in the summer. I’m also pretty crazy about piping, since it’s a nice way to add some detail without it looking fussy. I made my own piping with black linen and added a contrast hem to balance it.

I lined this with cotton gauze, because there’s nothing worse than slippery lining in the summer. It might just be my imagination but it seems like the linen wrinkles less with the cotton lining than the unlined linen garments that I’ve made.

Material Notes

Natural linen self and piping with cotton lining.

Very stylish. Piping is one of my favourites for trim as well.
