Description

I usually choose prints and really bright colours. This time I decided to make to colour combination my self. I wanted something blue. I was inspired by the cutting of the pattern 122 of Burda magazine, in issue of May 2006 (love that issue). It fits really nice, and it’s the first time ever I made a dress and I didn’t have to make alterations in the waist or hips area!!! I’m going to make this pattern again. I wonder if I could add sleeves to that dress… do you know what measurements I have to make????

Beautiful dress! You did a great job combining the shades of blue! There is a great website where you can read instructions to draft a sleeve. The website is " www.patternschool.com ".

Thank you! Orange ha…what a wonderful idea… and green would be a nice combination too or black-grey- white. There’s a little problem though…it’s lined and it washes out, I hoped when I wash this dress it won;t end up blue-marine!!!
