Linen dress

Added Jul 13, 2008

by crisford1

Salem, Oregon, U...

I’ve had this fabric sitting around for a long time, not knowing what to do with it. Until I saw the pattern for Heidi. I used the skirt from the Heidi Prom dress variation pattern, although I had to move the pleats around a bit to match them to the original Heidi top. I added inseam pockets to the skirt.

Material Notes

printed linen, cotton/linen underlining

I like how you adapted more of a formalwear pattern for an everyday look. And the 50s housewife picture cracks me up!
