I made this little dress from Simplicity 3773 pattern in salmon pink. I love the collar and racer back style.
The pattern is marked “Easy To Sew”, which is true, accept when getting to the collar and front facing steps. This was a little tricky to do just right without leaving a hole at the corner of the center front, or catching a part of the front of the dress fabric by mistake.
Overall, I love the shirtdress kind of ease and comfort of this summer dress without the fuss of a button front construction. I will be wearing this for the remainder of the summer. I wish I had made it earlier in th season!
If I make it again, I would like to incorporate a closure such as a front or side zipper, as well as possibly side seam pockets if my fabric is sturdy enough to support pockets.
