Linden's Birthday Present

Top : Like I do with recipes I just used the pattern to do my own thing. I used 3 different fabrics and made it reversible with buttons instead of bra hooks.

Skirt : I made my own pattern for an ultra simple jersey pencil skirt.

Material Notes

I used 1 and 1/2 fat quarters of cotton print (1 of one print and 1/2 of the other. And 1 and 1/2 yards of jersey. I do NOT recommend using a stretchy fabric with one that doesn’t however. But I did not have enough of anything and I wanted to make the matching skirt so I made it work.

Garment Type
Cotton, Knits/Jersey

Very stylish. I love how the bustier is a contrast to the skirt.

Thank you! Done! I made it for my twin sister. She is a tiny bit different shaped than I am so it should look even better on her! But I am making myself one with some different cotton prints that will be pretty amazing too. Although the different fabric for the cups I will do on mine, too. I love the way it looks! The pencil skirt I made myself is leopard print. I will post pictures of that too.
