My Alison. Wow was this hard. Turns out I don’t have quite this much patience :) I followed the instructions that Isabelle provided in her blog (for the most part). I added the binding around the leg openings similar to she did. The seam under my bodice is not so great looking. I noticed it too late. Oh well! I think it’s at least wearable :) If there is a next time, I will add some length for my long waist, and add some extra width to the bust. You should see the poor inside of this garment. Sorry the pictures are not the best, but I have to say this takes some guts! Ha :)

I must say, you did a nice job and picked a great color for this. I’ve tried a few bathing suits for the wife and well, they didn’t turn out great. I need to work on the edges more, not having a serger, trying to use the stretch stitches, trying to keep everything matching and grrrrrrrr. I’m sure you had some of the same frustrations :) Anyway, nice job and thanks for showing it in 3d. yes, it did take some guts on your part, but it fits you nicely. it’s nice to see finished work, but it’s even better to see how it actually fits. kind of a closure I guess. :)

I hate green colours – for the most part. But what you made is really amazing! I never thought a colour like this could look so absolutely stylish. Wow!

Beautiful! This was worth all your hard work – it came out great. You captured the cool retro feel but the bright color makes it very contemporary. Love it!
