Description

I had this old lilo (air mattress) lying around which clearly had a leak. I really liked the pattern of it and didn’t want to through it out, so I decided to have a go at making a bag out of it. The colours are a bit different, it’s a lot brighter than it looks on the pictures.

Material Notes

old lilo, some thin green cotton, a yellow zipper, yellow (and some green) topstitch thread, two topstitch needles (one broke, one survived), tape from the outdoor shop for the strap

I saw some bags and things made from old lilos in a shop window in Germany a long time ago and cursed myself for not having taken some pictures of them, but that’s where the idea came from.
